Jim is continuing a tradition that has lasted three generations. Appliances have been a family tradition since the 1940s and it is the knowledge and experience that has developed from this that has resulted in a appliance repair company with a fresh touch and old fashioned values. Through the years Jim has gained knowledge and experience in the appliance industry by lending a helping hand for his Uncle's at Vanhorn Stack Tv and Appliance in Oklahoma City. It was 1989 when young Jim Guthrie discovered his love of appliance repair. Learning a great deal about the trade from his PaPaw, father and two uncles, it only made sense that the tradition would continue. After High School Jim went to Newton, Iowa to be formally trained at the Maytag factory, and recieved certification to work on all types of appliances as a Maytag factory authorized servicer. Upon his return, most of his time was spent between study for college classes and working 5 days a week as a lead technician for a local Maytag home appliance center. Working this hard would be the only way Jim could earn his way through college. It wasn’t until his later college years before Jim decided to take his hard work ethic and experience to start his own appliance repair company that serves Edmomd, Oklahoma City, Yukon, Mustang and surrounding areas.
Customers in these service areas are able to experience what it is like to work with an appliance repair company that has the interest of the customer at heart. This is not a company that is primarily interested in making a buck. This is a company that is dedicated to providing the best customer service possible from the moment service is requested to the moment the repair has been completed.
